I'm Gustavo Araujo, and I run this site under the name freedomit. I'm responsible for your data here. For anything about it, write to me at [email protected].
What I keep
- The email list: your email, your language, and the dates you signed up, confirmed or left.
- Your account, if you make one: email, display name, picture, language, your comments and your playtest key. Your password is kept only as a one-way hash. If you log in with Discord or Google, I keep that account's id instead.
- Sessions: a code in a cookie keeps you logged in. For each login I also note the IP address and browser, for security.
- A copy of each email I send, kept for 30 days (90 if sending failed), so I can check what went out.
- To stop spam, the server counts requests per IP address. Those counts live only in memory and are never saved.
- The web server keeps ordinary access logs (IP address, page and time) for 14 days, then deletes them.
Why
Only to give you what you asked for: the playtest key, the posts you chose to get by email, your account and your comments. And to keep the site safe from spam. No ads, no tracking pixels, and I never sell your data.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare: every visit passes through its network, and its Turnstile check makes sure a person is filling in the sign-up, register and password forms.
- Hostinger: sends the emails.
- Oracle Cloud: the server where the site and its database run.
- Discord and Google: only if you choose to log in with them. They give me your account id, name, email and picture, and the picture keeps loading from their servers.
Cookies
dione_rt: keeps you logged in. 30 days, renewed while you use the site.dione_lang: remembers your language. 1 year.dione_ext: holds a Discord or Google login while it finishes. 10 minutes.
Cloudflare may set its own cookies for Turnstile and to block bots. I use no other cookies.
Your rights
Under Brazil's LGPD and Europe's GDPR, you can ask what I have about you, and ask me to correct it, send you a copy or delete it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected]. If you think I got something wrong, you can complain to the ANPD in Brazil or to the data protection authority where you live.
Leaving
- The email list: every email from the list ends with a link to leave it, and one click does it. Your email stays marked as unsubscribed so it never gets list mail again. Ask me and I'll erase it completely.
- Your account: delete it on your account page. That erases the account, its sessions, its Discord or Google links and its list sign-up. Your comments stay, without your name, so the replies still make sense.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
